Meet Dr. Johnson
Dr. Johnson graduated from Bucknell University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and completed his dental education at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. While in dental school, he fell in love with orthodontics and went on to complete an orthodontic residency at Temple University. There he was appointed Chief Resident in the Department of Orthodontics based on his exceptional clinical and leadership skills. He also served as an instructor for undergraduate dental students.

Metal Braces
Traditional braces are one of the most efficient and effective tools in orthodontics, and today's brackets are smaller and more comfortable than they used to be. We attach brackets to your teeth and connect them with wires, and regular adjustments apply gentle pressure that moves each tooth into place. Braces work well for simple and complex cases alike.
Clear Braces
Clear braces work the same way as metal braces, but the brackets blend in with your teeth so they're much less noticeable. They're a good fit if you want the reliability of braces without the metal look.
Invisalign
Invisalign clear aligners straighten teeth with a series of custom, removable trays instead of brackets and wires. You take them out to eat, brush and floss, so there are no food restrictions, and you move to a new set every week or two as your teeth shift. We also offer Invisalign Teen for younger patients.

When should my child first see an orthodontist?
The American Association of Orthodontists recommends a first orthodontic checkup by age 7. Most kids won't need treatment that early, but an early visit lets Dr. Johnson catch problems while they're easier to guide.
Am I too old for braces?
No. Healthy teeth can be moved at any age, and adults make up about one in five of our patients. Clear braces and Invisalign keep adult orthodontics discreet.
